Boca Raton Children's Museum

Our Mission:

To develop creative and critical thinking skills in children through exposure to the arts and humanities integrated with history and science.

An interactive destination for children that fosters the
imagination.

Dress up in a traditional costume from Ireland or Africa; dig for fossils; pretend to be a bank teller and put money in the big safe; rearrange the art on the walls to create your own masterpiece; go shopping in our kid-size grocery store; and much, much more.

These are just a few of the unique exhibits in our Museum. Bring your children and grandchildren and rediscover how imagination can create an adventure!

Grant Writer Volunteers Needed

Due to our campus expansion, we have the capacity to offer more programs year around to youngsters. We are seeking educators who are interested in—and capable of—designing programs for children up to age 10 and developing grant applications. Then, there are a couple of scenarios that may emerge. Some grant writer volunteers prefer to develop programs and write grant applications to provide value to a non-profit such as the Children’s Museum. Others want to actually administer the program(s) funded by the grant(s) and be paid for doing so.

If you are creative and dedicated to educating young children in arts, science, music, history, and/or intercultural subjects, this might be a wonderful and fulfilling way for you to contribute significantly to the community and—depending on your preference--also eventually generate income for yourself, as well.

Send your resume to Board Member Penny Morey for consideration. Thank you!
