October 2009: Saturday: 10, 17, 24, 31 8am - 1pm	Boca Raton GreenMarket Season Grand Opening on October 10 featuring Italian Fest (foods & activities to commemorate Columbus Day). Local produce, plants & trees, prepared foods, fresh bakery products, soaps & lotions, doggie treats, fresh cut flowers, food & health information. Saturday: 14th	Museum Appraisal Fair with Patricia Whiteside & Karen & Marvin Kross (10 am – 3 pm). Boca Raton City Hall, located at 201 W. Palmetto Park Rd. (Held in conjunction with Beautification Committee’s. Flowering Tree Sale (9 am – 4 pm)
Saturday: 27th 5pm - 8pm	City of Boca Raton Tree Lighting Ceremony at Mizner Park Amphitheater, located on Federal Highway, just south of Glades Road. This is the official start of the Holiday Season in Boca Raton as Mayor Welchel "turns on" thousands of twinkling lights. Children can visit with Santa and enjoy arts and crafts; there will be unique gift items, fun, food, outstanding holiday entertainment, and a Snow Village. Saturday: 19th 6:30pm	33rd Annual Holiday Boat Parade Intracoastal Waterway traveling south from C15 Canal to Hillsboro Blvd Bridge.
Monday - Friday: 9am - 9pm Saturdays: 12pm - 4pm	Boca Holiday Collection – Photo Exhibition at & The Community Center The Children’s Museum – This exhibit is courtesy of the Children’s Museum of Naples (C’MON). The exhibit promotes Museum Membership with reciprocal admissions and aims to increase awareness of the benefits provided by children’s museums within the State. A scaled model of a “Banyan Tree,” is the centerpiece and features hands-on activities for children including writing a dream for their future on special recycled paper that is embedded with seeds, to take home, plant and watch their dreams grow.

Tuesday - Saturday 12pm - 4pm	Wonders of Children’s Museums Traveling Exhibit at The Children’s Museum This exhibit is courtesy of the Children’s Museum of Naples (C’MON). Saturday: 2nd Sunday: 3rd 10am - 5pm	Boca Raton Fine Art Show at Royal Palm Plaza Juried Fine Art & Craft Show. Award Winning Artists from Around the Globe. Clay, Glass, Fiber, Jewelry, Paintings, Sculpture, Photography, Wood & More. The Children’s Museum presents Picturing America: Spotlight On American Leadership and Courage The First Annual Boca Raton Fine Art Show brings highest quality juried artists from around the world to sell their artworks. Picturing America is the newest initiative of the We the People Program of the National Endowment of the Humanities, which showcases some of our nation’s most significant images through American artistic masterpieces. Our FACES outreach children are creating masterpieces of their own for display; and professional Museum artists are also donating artwork for sale to benefit The Children’s Museum. Monday: 18th 11am - 2pm	Martin Luther King, Jr. Commorative Celebration at Mizner Amphitheater Featuring Picturing America: Spotlight on American Leadership and Courage, an exhibition of historic American art, student generated art and a hands-on art experience for all children who come by our booth
Sunday: 31st 10am - 11:30am Fee: $18/child	Yeladim Cultural Workshops: New Year Festival of the Trees Tu B’Shevat Jewish Arbor Day, Plant your own tree, make yummy edible fruit treats, learn about conservation, ecology, and how we can take better care of the Earth. June 2010:	BAMM Month (Broward Attraction and Museum Month) Free member admission to 20 Museums and Attractions. Be a member of one and enjoy them all!

July 2010:	Adventures in the Arts Summer Camp Children’s Museum, located at 498 Crawford Blvd
Sunday: 4th 6am - 9pm	Fabulous Fourth Family activities, food, games, rides, concert, fireworks. Florida Atlantic University, located at 777 Glades Road.

August 2010:	Boca Festival Days (multiple events scheduled throughout city) Coordinated by Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.
Saturday: 7th 6pm - 9pm	An Enchanted Evening (a part of Boca Festival Days) Meet at The Children's Museum to travel in the vintage style Molly Trolley for an art and nature inspired journey of storytelling, lite-fare, and music with a magical ending at the House of Tia Crystal. Cost $35 per person

Saturday:18th	Winter Begins with Magic at the Greenmarket 10:00am to 12:00noon Through one if its major projects, FACES: Celebrating Florida Culture through the Arts, the Museum will present the program "Winter Begins With Magic" on Saturday, December 18, 2010, 10am to 12noon, on the Main Stage at the Boca Raton GreenMarket™, on the corner of SE Mizner Blvd. and South Federal Highway, in front of the Royal Palm Plaza. Children and families will be excited about learning when they witness magical feats with academic aims performed by the Pearl City Cats, one of the Museum’s outreach groups. Our "magicians" will demonstrate the illusions and share how the magic is done so that you too can amaze friends, family, classmates, and even your teacher! You will also be thrilled by a professional performance of prestidigitation by members of the Boca Raton Magic Club! This event is open to all and there is no charge to participate.
