City of Boca Raton Tree Lighting Ceremony at Mizner Park Amphitheater, located on Federal Highway, just south of Glades Road. This is the official start of the Holiday Season in Boca Raton as Mayor Welchel "turns on" thousands of twinkling lights. Children can visit with Santa and enjoy arts and crafts; there will be unique gift items, fun, food, outstanding holiday entertainment, and a Snow Village. Boca Holiday Collection – Photo Exhibition at & The Community Center The Children’s Museum – This exhibit is courtesy of the Children’s Museum of Naples (C’MON). The exhibit promotes Museum Membership with reciprocal admissions and aims to increase awareness of the benefits provided by children’s museums within the State. A scaled model of a “Banyan Tree,” is the centerpiece and features hands-on activities for children including writing a dream for their future on special recycled paper that is embedded with seeds, to take home, plant and watch their dreams grow. |
