Membership Benefits
Museum Membership is a great way to show your support for the institution. It is not expensive, and you gain special benefits not available to non-members.

By becoming a member of the Children's Museum, you and your family can take advantage of the great benefits offered only to museum members. These benefits include:

• Free admission to the museum and selected special events such as KidsFest based on your membership category and effective from the date of your joining.

• Early registration for all museum events that have limited capacity, especially our annual Breakfast with Santa.

• Reciprocal memberships at the following Florida museums: Children's Museum of the Highlands, Sebring; Children's Museum of Tampa; Explorations V Children's Museum, Lakeland; Great Explorations, St. Petersburg; Young at Art Children's Museum, Davie.

• A year of Connections, the quarterly museum newsletter that will keep you posted on upcoming events.

• 10% discount in the museum's gift shop, where you'll find a wonderful line of books and playthings geared specifically toward children.

Volunteering
The Museum needs the help of talented and energetic people to make our programs and events a success. Not only do we need one-time help at special events, but we are also looking for people with special skills (attorneys, handymen, artists, photographers, and more) to help take us to the next level -- especially during our expansion.

The Friends of The Children's Museum
The Friends of the Children's Museum, a volunteer support group, was founded in 1998 and has been providing much-needed support ever since. Their mission is to promote the Museum and help raise supporting funds.

The Friends organization is very active. The group pitches in in a variety of ways, including staffing the Museum's welcome desk, helping out with events such as the Antique Appraisal and Collectors Show, KidsFest, Halloween Happenings, Breakfast with Santa, craft workshops and educational programs at the Museum.

There is also room for those individuals who cannot give of their precious time but would like to make a donation to the Museum.
