Located in the heart of downtown Boca Raton, The Museum has two historical buildings that are both useful and educational. They are Singing Pines (circa 1913) and The Cottage (built in 1935). The third building, the Rickard’s House, was built in 2011. The Rickard’s House is inspired by one of the first homes built in Boca Raton in 1897.   The grounds have attractions such as the Pirate Ship, The Carriage and Music Garden/Nature trail perfect for children to explore.

Our facility houses hands-on exhibits that allow young visitors to experience real-life opportunities at their developmental level.

The Rickard’s House is available for meetings and events, baby and wedding showers, and many types of parties including birthday parties. To plan your event or party, contact Guest Services at (561) 368-6875.
